We have been busy working with schools and groups primarily. However, we would be happy to hold a special class or workshop series for your children or teenagers only or with their friends until we organize more public class dates for 2018. Or you can choose a date that works for you and we can offer the class to the public as well. Please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate. Discount for the organizer!
Valentine's Dining Etiquette/"Dessert and Demeanor" Program
Sunday, February 11th ~ 2 pm - 3:30 pm
Teens (13+) will enjoy an afternoon learning how to be confident in any dining setting, including job interview lunches. Lessons: table settings, identifying utensils and glassware, proper use of napkins, proper behavior at the table, difficult to eat foods, styles of dining (American, Continental, Buffet), entering and exiting, posture, conversation, and more. We also discuss and act out the many rude behaviors we may see and hear when dining while Miss Mistake™ shows us how bad it looks and sounds! Giggles ensue while kids act as their own Miss/Mr. Mistake.
Heart-shaped cakes with strawberries and whipped cream, beverage, craft and songs, take-home workbook and completion certificate.

Saturday, December 16th, 2017 ~ Holiday Brunch and Tea -Table Manners

Learn to dine like princes or princesses do! Lessons useful for a lifetime of interacting with important people include:
Conversation with parents and friends, learning place settings, identifying utensils and glassware, napkin placement/use, selecting the correct utensils, how to hold a knife and fork, difficult to eat foods, eating various foods including bread, soup and dessert, behavior at the table (we cover about 45 behaviors -proper and improper), entering and exiting, posture, proper seating, showing respect to your server and more!
Others will be impressed! Be prepared to hear positive comments from your relatives and friends regarding your child's table manners.
Menu: finger sandwiches (P.B. & J and/or cream cheese), scones and jam, fruit, ice cream and cake/pastry dessert with tea or pink lemonade.
Includes completion certificate, small craft, workbook and dining with our very fun and silly Miss Mistake™!
Fee: $55 per person + food fee ($10)

Sunday, Oct. 1 ~ Socialize with Confidence and Respect (3-hr. Social and Communication Skills Combo) - Ages 9+ (exceptions can be made)
1 pm - 4 pm
Being comfortable in a social situation can ease the fear or awkwardness a child may feel. In this session, role-playing and props will be used and the topics covered will include welcoming behaviors, eye contact, shaking hands, introducing yourself, responding when being introduced, image and clothing, avoiding rude behaviors (approx. 30 behaviors addressed), introducing others, showing proper respect, anti-bullying, common courtesies, helping behaviors, behavior in public places, using escalators, elevators and doors and being a good host and guest.
Knowing how to communicate builds self-esteem and leadership ability. Children will enjoy a craft, songs and games while learning proper greetings and introductions, conversation and ice breakers, listening and not interrupting, nonverbal communication, anti-bullying strategies including reacting to a bully and helping others who are being bullied, interview skills, public speaking and using visual aids, compliments including giving and receiving, respect for self and others, the use of please, thank you, you’re welcome, excuse me, I’m sorry, meeting people with disabilities and differences, thank you notes, telephone etiquette and electronic etiquette: texting, internet and cell.

Good dining skills show you have manners and respect for others/oneself whether at home, grandma's house or even the White House. Others will be impressed! Be prepared to hear positive comments from your relatives and friends regarding your child's table manners.
Topics include conversation with parents and friends instead of staring at electronic devices at the table, learning place settings, identifying utensils and glassware, napkin placement/use, selecting the correct utensils, difficult to eat foods, eating various foods including bread, soup and dessert, behavior at the table (we cover about 45 behaviors -proper and improper), entering and exiting, posture, leaving the table, proper seating and more!
$120 total; $90 for siblings (includes food fee)

Investment is regularly $120 per 2-hour class for your first child ($100 for your second child and $80 for additional children) unless a discount is otherwise noted. Includes take-home workbook, craft materials, Completion Certificate and snack/food (unless food/other fee is specified). Referral award of $10 to be applied towards a future class for every child you refer who signs up for a regular-priced class (not special fee class). Private, one-on-one instruction is available for $50 additional per class. A 10% discount is given if registering and paying for all three programs in advance. Additional fee for customized classes; special discounted fees for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and non-profit groups.
There is a limit of 6 children per class (exceptions on limit will be made for large groups). There is a 50% deposit upon enrollment due to limited openings and/or advance food purchase and preparation. Refund Policy: Full refund of deposit if cancellation is within 7 days of class date; 50% refunded if we are given less notice since class size is limited. However, deposit can be put towards a future class date in either case. Balance due at class time.
Our location may vary depending on the program and will be listed next to class date. Classes are two hours long (unless otherwise noted) and the time goes by quite fast. We are flexible and open to most venues including country clubs, restaurants, schools, or private homes. The location will usually be in the Bucks and Montgomery County areas of Pennsylvania but exceptions may be made for organized groups outside of these areas.
For Dining Etiquette Programs, a two or three-course meal will be provided or served at a restaurant, consisting of a soup or salad, a main entrée and a dessert unless specified otherwise. All meals will allow the children to practice proper utensil use. Please mention allergies when registering.
